Before booking
Health history & suitability
Your consultation helps assess whether brow or lip tattooing is suitable. It does not commit you to treatment.
Do not proceed until assessed
- If you have an active cold sore or infection, or are acutely unwell, contact the clinic before attending.
Tell Nicolle before booking
- A consultation can still be useful when tattooing is unsuitable or needs deferring. It does not commit you to treatment.
- Discuss pregnancy or breastfeeding, medicines, bleeding or healing concerns, skin conditions, allergies and previous tattooing.
- The full tattoo and preparation-product screening is completed before a treatment appointment.
Do not stop prescribed medicines to make yourself eligible for treatment. Medical clearance may be required.
Preparing for your consultation
- Bring information about medicines, allergies, previous cosmetic tattooing and any concerns about healing or pigment reactions.
- For lips, mention any history of cold sores. Reference photos can help explain your preferred shape or colour, although a particular result cannot be guaranteed.
- Do not apply a pre-treatment cream for this consultation unless instructed.
What to expect
- We discuss your goals, assess the proposed area and review individual suitability.
- Design and colour options, healing, aftercare, risks and the initial and touch-up prices are explained.
- Previous tattooing may affect the options available. Further assessment or referral can be needed.
After the consultation
- If you choose to book treatment, follow the preparation instructions supplied for that appointment.
- If prescribed preparation is needed, obtain the product through the named compounding pharmacy and follow the patient-specific instructions.
- The initial brow or lip appointment is $499, with a separate $150 touch-up at 6–8 weeks when fully healed and suitable.
